Reid Northrup

Born and raised in the land of cheeseheads in Wisconsin, I am an avid Green Bay Packer fan. After earning my undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, I received my MBA degree from the University of Missouri.  After working 35 years for Caterpillar Inc. it was time to retire and pursue my love of photography.

But after a lifetime of living in the flatlands of the mid-west, it was time to move to God's country, a.k.a., western North Carolina.  Could there be a better place to continue to develop my photographic skills and enjoy all the area has to offer?  I don't think so.  Between its 1000+ waterfalls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, how could anyone ask for anything more?

I am a member of the Camera Club of Hendersonville and the Carolina National Photography Association.
